Insurance
Solutions & Services (ISSI),
a provider of professional insurance and
risk management services and products, was
looking to expand and upgrade their working
environment. In order to accommodate the
needs and various functions of all of their
employees, ISSI required a variety of
workstations and executive offices as well
as a reception area, a conference room, and
ample space for filing and storage. While
they wanted to present an upscale,
professional image they needed to do so
while working within a tight budget. Extra
Office Interiors was able to provide them
with cost-effective products and ideas that
resulted in outstanding aesthetics and
superior functionality.
Our Essentially New Herman Miller
workstations, each with one three-drawer
pedestal and one overhead storage bin, were
not only a very stylish and functional
option, but they were also very cost
effective as well. The coordinating fabrics
and glass panels give the cubicles a
high-end, contemporary feel, and these
stations do more than just look good. Each
station also included pre-wired electrical
panels and easily accessible raceways that
neatly conceal all of your data and voice
cables making computer and phone hook-up as
easy as plug and play.
All of the executive furniture, as well as
the reception desk and conference table were
specified from Cherryman Industries. As with
the Essentially New workstations, the look
provided by Cherryman is very modern and
upscale featuring a deep cherry finish and
stainless steel hardware, all with a price
that worked well with their budget. The
conference table was also wired with data
and voice jacks so that it could easily
interface with all of today’s cutting edge
presentation technology.

Essentially New…At a Fraction of
the Cost.
The
Management at ISSI, as with many other
companies today, were looking for furniture
that they could be proud to own and show
their clients. In addition, the furniture
also needed to fit into their budget and fit
seamlessly within their new space.
When they approached Extra Office Interiors
for a design and quote, we suggested our
Essentially New Herman Miller workstations.
We explained how these workstations would be
completely remanufactured to their design
specifications and would allow them to
select their choice of finishes for all
panels, work surfaces, and trim. We also
explained to them that when completed, the
workstations would be comparable to new in
both form and function and that they even
come standard with a limited lifetime
warranty. Most importantly, our Essentially
New workstations typically sell for more
than 50% less than a comparable new product.
ISSI was also happy to know that Extra
Office Interiors was going to remanufacture
the product locally in Rahway, NJ, as well
as take care of all delivery and
installation. Extra Office Interiors ability
to handle all phases of the project avoids
the need for sub-contractors and streamlines
the entire process, which reduces cost and
eliminates mistakes. ISSI, while staying
within budget, ended up with a perfect
layout for their space and with furniture
they can feel great about.
