The Essentially New AO System is an entire line of completely remanufactured Herman Miller Action Office workstations that are virtually indistinguishable from new, at a fraction of the cost. The systems are compatible with the original equipment manufacturers products, and utilize remanufactured original parts in conjunction with new compatible parts.

In addition to the obvious cost savings and limitless design options, purchasing remanufactured office furniture is good for the environment as well. Utilizing recycled office furniture diverts it out of the solid waste stream and back into the consumer market by restoring it to "like new" condition. All Essentially New AO workstations are created using the following remanufacturing process:

Panels: The existing fabric is completely removed along with the side rails, top cap, and panel base. The panel core is then machine refabricated ensuring the tightness, accuracy, and adhesion of the new fabric. The side rails, top cap, and panel base are then repainted or replaced utilizing 100% compatible Action Office parts.

Work Surfaces: All Essentially New workstations feature completely new work surfaces or as a cost savings option the customer may instead choose to utilize pre-owned work surfaces.

Storage Components: As with the panels and work surfaces, all the Essentially New storage components are completely refurbished or replaced with new, to ensure the functionality and durability of the Essentially New system.
